The 20,000-student university chose the Reeher Platforms to help its rapidly growing team of gift officers quickly understand the donor landscape, and identify and manage top prospects. The University of Delaware is the first state flagship institution to use the Reeher Platforms.

“We serve more than 200,000 alumni and friends of the university, but our overall alumni giving has been from a somewhat small cadre of very loyal and generous supporters. The Reeher Platform for Annual Fund, also a web-based software service, combines predictive analytics, interactive reporting, and powerful planning tools to help improve the performance of college and university Annual Fund campaigns. Reeher also provides a dedicated advisor to help maximize results and quickly meet top fundraising priorities.

Both Reeher Platforms are populated with existing information about alumni and friends of the university, their respective wealth status, and other relevant demographics. The platforms add valuable external consumer data into the equation to predict alumni giving, help forecast the value of potential contributors, and understand their likelihood of donating. By adding critical behavior data, the Reeher Platforms are able to provide more accurate targeting and better results.

The University of Delaware’s current team of 17 gift officers – expanding to 50 front line gift officers over the next five to six years – will apply the Reeher Platforms to maximize fundraising efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining the process to identify donors with an affinity to the university, and prioritizing outreach.
